My recent trips to the wilds of SE Oregon photographing our nation's wild horses netted these two very contrasting images. Horses in the wild and horses (primarily mares and foals) in BLM holding pens. Those mares and foals are available for adoption by the way. A very good opinion piece in the LA Times rebutting the Times article on Wild Horses as pests.
