January 2007 - Mt Tabor Park
A time to recharge, work on a few projects and explore new ways of seeing without the pressures of "being on a job". Lately I've been playing with a new wide angle lens. Its light enough to carry along the camera on some of my hikes.
A recent visit to a pioneer cemetary in Portland and some visits to Mt Tabor Park, just a block from my home. A long time favorite place to walk and see and contemplate.
A sample today of wide angle goodness + some post processing fun towards the top of Mt Tabor. Some stairs, wide angle reservoir view and towards the top in the woods.
Equipment used: Canon 1D Mark II N and Canon 16-35mm f2.8.
Early February we head south on a road trip to Death Valley and the Mohave Desert. Looking forward to some Landscape opportunities.
